Vätterfolk is a non-profit association that was formed in 1988. Vätterfolk is a unifying actor in the southern Vätterbygden for folk music, folk dance, folk songs and more. An important part of the association’s activities is to arrange concerts, game and dance evenings, fiddlers’ meetings and more. Concert and dance evenings
All events in Spira are held on the café stage (unless otherwise stated). The concerts are 60 min or 2 x 45 min. After the concerts, there will be dancing for the visiting artists and others on several occasions. In Spira’s café and restaurant there is the opportunity to have coffee and eat before the concert or during the break, it is also possible to bring a cup of coffee, a glass of wine and the like. into the café scene.

Groups of 10 or more people all go in for a membership price
Tickets can be purchased in advance via SMoT’s website and at the Kulturhuset Spira ticket office, the libraries in Jönköping and Huskvarna and at the Tourist Office. You can of course also, subject to availability, buy a ticket directly when you come to Spira.

Members receive a discount on our events and receive information about the association’s upcoming activities sent home. Pay your membership fee at least one week before the first concert you are going to, if you want to be able to buy a ticket at a membership price.
